There didn’t seem to be too many club meetings. My only complaint in this one was that it primarily centered in Lindsay and Cindy. They each use their own expertise to help solve the crimes. These gals get together to bounce ideas off each other regarding the difficult cases they have going on, most times thinking outside the box in order to come up with some solutions. You have Lindsay, the homicide investigator Claire, the medical examiner Cindy, the newspaper reporter and Yuki, the prosecuting attorney. I love catching up with the Women’s Murder Club. Oh, and did I mention that she’s also pregnant? On top of working both cases, her personal life takes a drastic turn when she tells Joe, her new husband, to get out. Lindsay and her partner are on both cases, trying to figure out just what is going on. The first involves a shooter taking out known drug dealers and the second involves unearthed heads at a well-known actor’s home.
In 11th Hour, there are two cases going on at the same time. As you can insinuate from the title, this is the 11th in the series and I quite enjoyed it.
